YBP Features

Features will include the profiles of people who exemplify what it means to be young, Black, and purposeful. If you know of anyone who fits that description please nominate them to be featured! It is important to acknowledge and uplift the young Black people who are already living their lives with purpose. 

 In today's world, we are constantly bombarded with negative images and representations of Black youth. We all could use real-life reminders that there are countless young, Black, purposeful people who are doing amazing things all the time! So if you know someone or if you would like to be featured please email the nomination to youngblackandpurposeful@gmail.com.

 Want to Be Featured on the Blog? 

 Here's How:
  • I will take nominations but only with contact information and permission of the nominee
  • You can nominate yourself 
  • All nominations must come with a picture and a brief description of why you think they (or you) deserve to be featured. Please describe the ways in which this person is fulfilling their purpose and helping others in the process.
  • You can also be featured on the Instagram page @youngblackandpurposeful. I will accept direct message or email requests for features on the Instagram page.
